She hit the nail on the head (or I couldn't have said it better myself)

This speaks to what has been digging at my heart for a while. Please read this note from a fellow pilgrim on her journey to be more like Jesus:

Started approximately January 2008 to be completed by September 28, 2010 (carried over into 2011). I decided to add items to this list that I did but wasn't planning to do initially. Sort of a "life happens while you're making other plans" list. It encourages me to realize all that I have been involved in over the last few years:

1) Apply for grad school
2) Take a camping trip with Christy
3) Sort through filing cabinet and decrease papers in storage
4) Assemble craft inspiriation notebook
5) Make home decorating ideas notebook
6) Journal daily for 1 month
7) Read entire Bible in 90 days
8) Organize photographs
9) E-mail parents with picture of hope chest
10) Finish photo collage for brother
11) Finish scrapbooking Seattle trip
12) Finish crochet tote (and publish picture on blog!)
13) Don't buy anything made in China for two weeks
14) Finish b&w polka dot dress
15) Finish blanket for brother
16) Finish baby blanket for Debbie
17) Finish baby blankets for twins (Mayah = done; Madison = in progress...the twins now are 4 & have a baby sister...)
18) Paint pantry walls
19) Add trim & chalkboard paint to pantry cabinet doors
20) Move lights in kitchen & pantry; patch ceiling & paint
21) Clean up & paint walls over cabinets in kitchen
22) Take pictures of kitchen & pantry
23) Crochet seat covers for dining room chairs: not going to do
24) Make jungle gym for cats
25) Purchase and install wall sconces in living room
26) Purchase and install backyard fence: maybe not until we get a dog
27) Re-do patio floor
28) Spray paint privacy screen
29) Scrape & paint patio furniture
30) Plant catnip in garden (which the cats ate before it got a chance to grow!)
31) Scrape & paint decorative fence & mailbox
32) Plant wildflower garden
33) Install pond/waterfall
34) Plant tree in front garden
35) Add stone edging to front garden
36) Assemble house numbers plaque for front porch
37) Build insulated cabinet for water equipment
38) Plant strawberry patch
39) Begin counseling sessions
40) Go to NYC
41) Finish ripple blanket
42) Finish dress-up dresses for S & B
43) Finish my sundress

47) Develop a plan for self-reflection and solitude

62) Attend funeral for former student's mother
63) Wrap all Christmas gifts in old maps/atlas pages
64) Budget for Christmas and stay out of debt for Christmas 2011
65) Throw an amazing 10-hour birthday party for my dear roommate/best friend on 10-10-'10!!!
66) Have three camping trips in one year (spring, summer, and fall!)
67) Spend a weekend away in Rockville, Indiana, eating only microwave meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner!) while watching Gilmore Girls
68) Do a 90 (actually only about 45 days the first attempt) day challenge with my mom (Donna Partow's Becoming the Woman God Wants Me to Be)
69) Have a serious relationship & find out it wasn't meant to be
70) Make matching PJ's for two little girls and their American Girl dolls (and get paid for it!)
71) Crochet a backpack that converts into an American Girl sleeping bag for a favorite friend
72) Learn how to bake bread (Artisan Bread in Five Minutes a Day)
73) Tear down a closet only to discover that it is actually a retaining wall...ooops! Waiting for some help to fix that mistake!
74) Seek an estimate on replacing my roof and gutters
75) Get roof and gutters replaced
76) Start a new family tradition at Thanksgiving
77) Buy a plane ticket to see my family at Christmastime
78) Turn 25
79) Turn 26
80) Turn 27
81) Turn 28
82) Help my brother and his young family move to Ithaca, NY
83) Visit my brother, my sis-in-law, and my niece for a week (then again for a weekend!)
84) Turn 29 and be excited about it and have a fabulous birthday fortnight
